The Students(2)..
After my stay in ctss for about a year..Here's a further brief description of more classmates of 1c1' 00..and don't feel offended by my comments ok? It's just my perception of all of you when im sec 1..the immature me..lol:
The Girls:
Adeline
Man..she's very navie..that's all I can say. But I don't think I was that mature as well..but she really lived each day in a carefree manner. Her laughter was horrendous! Laughs at the slightest jokes.. hmmm..talks loudly. very bubbly.. and I really applaud her for her optimism. haha..I sat beside her during lessons..at the back of the classroom. Lol.. I still remember the time when she took out her long ruler..and it suddenly snapped right infront of us. And of coz..as you have thought..she was laughing..hahaha..
Bao Yue
Doh..dunno much..but I know she always hang out with ade, yan hua and zoe? really dun remember..im so sorry!
Yan Hua
Ahhh...She was 140+ cm when she's sec 1..still 140+ at sec 2.. and till now..maybe still 140+ now. hahaha.. Becoz I was still short at that time..nobody cared about her height. It's only when everyone started to grow like beanstalks, she still remained at the present altitude! Small in size..but huge in thinking capacity. She's considered very mature for a girl at the age of 13.. maybe that's why she and rama weren't at good terms. Emotional.. ya..dunno how many times she cried.. but maybe it's because that her thinking was far different from us..that's why I sometimes don't understand why she cried for certain events and for certain people..
Zoe
Pow Qing Tian! *Tok Tok Chiang*! Justice Pow's the name after she came up to the position of the class chairperson. and it's just so nice her surname was pow that we named her justice pow. Her squeaky and high pitched voice, "SHUUUUTTT UPPPP!" was ear piercing. i remembered our classmate pei an fell in love with her..hahaha..well..more about Mr Pei An in awhile..
Ting Hwee
Oh..another mature girl..yes yes.. hmmm..but I didn't get to talk to her real well till sec2..
The rest..was super quiet..so hard to approach them..or maybe they find me so hard to aprroach to me..haha..
The Guys:
Jie Lun
Yes yes..Mr Seetoh..famous for for being playful in class haha.. very noisy ar! seldom hands in his work. Scolded by numerous teachers for being laid back. But he is super helpful..Super friendly.. i got to know him during the 1c1 chalet. I was real afraid to approach him at first..I don't know why..maybe just afraid of his looks..lol..
Yi Wei
My CCk buddy.. hmmm..we always go home together.. i remembered is sarcastic remarks.
Jackson
Mighty mouse! He's of smaller built than me! haha..but he's real quick..and runs like a mouse. During PE when we had to run around the field.. Pei Kun's stride was like 2 strides per second..haha..but jackson could do 4 strides..lol. He was my home economics partner..Yea..great cooks! haha.. and he always talked to me like that.."sen min ar sen min..." hahha.. small slick eyes. Went to his house to experiement on our chicken sandwich we had to prepare for the upcoming exam.. cool..
Other Bleak Memories...
Honestly speaking..My memory's getting bad..I suddenly cannot remember alot of things that have happened.
1)
I remembered one time Joanne got Jie Lun into trouble. He got a hell of a scolding by Miss Shelly Low..the teacher no student would want to trifle with. but actually she's a nice teacher when u get to know her. And because of that Joanne cried. I hope I could get some more information from Jie lun..haha.. I just can't recall.
2)
Then One Time while waiting for the next lesson in class..Shawn suddenly Pushed York Song off his seat and he shouted "STOP IT LA!" Shocked, Shawn was so quiet in the class and he suddenly erupted! I forgot the reason why. But things ended as quickly as it started. Lol..York song just went.."relax la..." and everything went fine.. haha..

I dunno why..But what the hell..I can remember this event very very well. I couldn't believe I just stood there and watched Jun Yang and Jie Lun fighting in the canteen! Suddenly I saw them throwing Ice at each other.. exchange some blows.. hmm.. I remembered JL just use a huge piece of ice and just whacked Jun Yang in the Face! hahaha.. I really dunno why.. Maybe I was too small size to intervene the giants. The canteen vendors just stood and stare..
Teacher's day..
Another performance..yet again by 1c1..haha.. and that time we performed the song "A whole new world" From the Aladdin Sound track.. And I guess it was my first time performing on a stage in front of a crowd.
Remembered how we use to stay back after school to practice on the playground.. behind the school gates.

Shining shimering slpendid..
On Teacher's day..our plan about holding candles while singing screwed up alittle..some found the candles too hot to hold on the hands.. some of the candles even blew out before the curtains were drawn. Some ppl said that the candle flame was not obvious..
But we did manage to pull out the performance pretty well..
A Change in roles..
It was approaching to the 4th term of the year..and don't you wish the holidays would quickly start? by this time of the year..I felt quite tired mentally..I admit..I was a real loner..lol..most of the time Im in a world of my own. Only hanging out with peeps like Clement and chao yang and yi wei..kinda think of it...I found out that my friendship circle during tt year was real small...Man..how can u be so self-centered Sen Min?
maybe Im being stubborn...
hahaha..with adrian gone..Rama chose Zoe to be the new chairperson..Boy was it a mistake! haha..and I was chosen to help out Ray to be the Assistant Discipline head. Well..I guess only then..I started to get to know about the rest around me..
haha..zoe had a soft voice..and a very high pitched and girly voice..so can u imagine her shouting to the class to keep quiet when we get too noisy? Nobody could hear her! haha..And poor her she had to scream at her top of her voice..wahaha.. "CLASSSS KEEEEPPP QUIET!!!!!"
As for me..I was pretty much slacking..haha..although i helped out in the class movement thingy..haha..and I had problems getting the ppl to do class duties? Ray also had problems..lol..sometimes he even had to clean the canteen tables himself! haix..well..Im here to share his burden I guess? lol..
Guang Huai Fang Shi..
I will always remember this song..this is the first song some 1c1 members sang it during a inter-class singing competition..
This is when some of us started to bond.. *The songs plays in my head..*
I remembered sitting down at the hall.. watching Raymond.. Jie lun..Jon.. Alvin.. Ade..Bao Yue.. Zoe and Hsun ting I guess...hmmm. I watched them perform this song. haha..and the best part was when the boys knelt down and continued singing..the audience went high..everyone cheered! haha.. I remembered how much effort they put into preparing for the performance.. I recalled seeing the ppl gathering underneath the grandstand to practice.. haha..
and best of all..we won top 3 I guess..
The Gangs..
haha..It wasn't long before small groups of cliques was formed..Obviously I wasn't in any cliques..for I chose to be silent and somehow quite distant away from my classmates..
I remembered Ade, Bao Yue, Yan Hua, Zoe in a clique..hanging out together..
I remembered Pk, Ray, leo and jon..hmm..I remembered their BelCream Advertisment for the english project.
I remembered chao yang..victor..zach..pei an in the late part of the year...IRC was the 'in' thing tt time so a channel called #coruscant was created..
Lee min, Angeline..who else? I can't remember..
There are a number of ppl who left 1c1 though...I wasn't suprise..but by seeing ppl leave..just makes our class morale to an all time low..
Westin Yanni? haha..I remmbered her..she left the earliest..Just after the term 1 holidays..she was gone..and we heard that she couldn't suit herself in our class and the school. Sk was freaking complaining coz the role as a library head was taken away..while he was still the assisitant..lol..
Gillian? haha..I remembered she was very tall..yikes..and I guess she's even taller now..lol..
Adrian? He was our former chairperson..he was pretty friendly and he's really kind..but I guess he keeps getting into the bad books of the teachers and DH...well..he had to transfer..I guess..
The Teachers..
well..certainly..all the teachers who are assigned to teach our class would loathe it. Geography teachers kept complaining about our sleepiness her classes..maths teacher had no control..lit teacher blew her top twice..CME teacher kept complaining about our silly comments by some ppl. Only some teachers manage to get our respect and obidience out..hats off to them...
Mr Oliver Junus:
Haha..he was such a strict teacher..yet so fun to be with. he's real strict you noe.. I mean if you don't bring textbook..he'll make u copy the chapter of the textbook he was teaching. U must copy the exact copy..meaning to say..u must included the pics in side..the page number..almost like a manual photocopying machine. haha..I got punished by him once..coz I forogt to bring my sci txt..then fabian also..so we were made to copy down the entire of chapter 1. haha..but I guess Mr Junus also didn't go check if we've completed anot. But I didn't of coz didn't write less than wat I was told to la..haha..young and naive ma..lol. Once I remember he caught JL asleep during a lesson at IT lab 1..haha..then he talked and slowly walked towards Jl...then he suddenly took a giant step infront of him and stomped his feet followed by a loud shout of his last word of his sentence. Lol..it really made JL jump up..haha..then everyone just laughed. Amazingly..he still didn't forget me when I saw him during sec 3 at a meeting for the AOE2 competition. He left from another sch when I was sec 2..since sec 1..he didn't teach us anymore.
Ms Tan:
haha..Ms Tan was our new science teacher. She's the teacher all students would love to have..haha..coz she can't scold..even though she tries to be angry..u won't feel fearful. lol..she was in her 40s-50s? then she wears a pair of big big orange sunglasses..haha..then with perm hair..really look like typical auntie..but u won't believe she's actaully a sci teacher! Then we always make fun of her in silence about her pronouncation. She will pronounce "class" as "Chrass" Lol..She made alot of mis-pronouncation..and soemtimes she know that we are making fun of her..but she doesn't show much interest or express much anger. I dun noe how the rest of 1c1 may feel. But I think she's a very very very tolerant teacher..very paitent..unlike RAMA.. =P she sometimes will tell fabian to change..lol..and then she sometimes tell grandmother story..lol..saying that she has meet students worse than us before..wahahha..imagine tt! And our class also at times tried to behave too..haha..the girls will always try to shut us up during the Lab sessions. Sometimes I pity her..coz 1c1 was really a hard class to handle..and I wonder at such an age..can she take such nonsense..haha. But the most suprising thing is that she gave us things during childrens' day! haha..and u noesec schs dun celebrate childrens' day..haha..and she gave us Pikachu ruler and pencils as a gift! hahaha...we're so touched! lol..and she treated us like kids..haha..out of thankfulness..we thanked her when she walked past our class even though she didn't have lessons with us on tt day..haha.. and it's the first time I saw her smile to our class too..
Mdm Virgiya:
Whooo..another teacher..I can't forget..shes one hell of a good history teacher..lol. At least she doesn't make me think history is a boring subject. I still remember during her lesson..she wanted us to act out a certain historic person for a short 1 minute or so. In that one minute..you'll have to think of wat he'll say to his people or give a brief intro about himself. haha..I got the role as Adolf Hitler...lol..Yun Feng made me do the role coz we're the only two guys in the group..wahaha..so I acted out the time when he was giving his speeches to his people encouraging the Germans to stand up and fight to regain their powerful status. haha..and I made quite a inspiring speech lol..all I remembered was last saying.."In order to prove my sincerity and that im a man of my words..I shall here by kill a jew to prove to you!" haha..then I took Yun Feng By the collar and he suddenly got shocked cause it wasn't part of the play...haha.. and everyone applaused and went "KILL! KILL! KILL!" Lol..I didn't know I could pull off such things..I was never that bold or creative..
The Students..
Let me give a quick description of 1c1.. and some few classmates I have noticed during tt year. I was really the quiet one in class..I don't remember who I normally stick with during classes..all I remember I spoke oftenly to Yun Feng.. the joker in class. I can still remember every mornings before assembly..the guys would unkowningly gather in the canteen first..I would be the second one to come..kelvin the first and earliest person..I remembered JL once suddenly tried to friendly by going to everyone of us and stuck his hand out for a warm handshake and said "do I know you?" I still remember I could click quite well with jackson tt time..
But most of the time I was just as quiet..looking around..
Pei An: wahaha..He was the joke of our class..he was the one who always get laughed at and bullied by..He was made fun by Yc and Yf when they teased him that he was hairy all over. Then because of the teasing everyone started to call him names like "hairy monster" and "action baydate" for being rash at times and action. Still remembered when we had draw our names in checkboxes for art..he drew his name "Harry" instead of "Pei An"
Zachary: He was closer to me during sec one times. Coz MS rama changed the sitting plan and I sat with him and fabian sat alone in front. He showed all sorts of things..haha..from his DIY weapons to telling me about computer games la..And things between him and fab wasn't nice..haha..day by day..things turn sour..and at one point of time..they both blew up and exhanged blows.. remembered zach specs broke..sometimes the problem got so bad it was taken to the Discipline Master..
Clement: Clement joined our class 1 week after lessons start. The first time I met time I met him was after school during computer lessons. lol..the first thing he showed me was a program he wrote in notepad which can open programs repeatedly before u can close them all. haha..I was pretty facinated by it and he taught me how to do it. haha..I think now we both dunno how to write the program le..lol..We joined the same cca..when he asked me wat cca I was in..so we both ended up in mircomouse learning how to operate the mouse from chin yi and yaomin..wahaha..I remember chong teng was a slacker tt time who was good at his algo..haha..then chin yi was the chairman then. So me and clement started a journey together in mircomouse..little did we know that we're gonna get closer during our 4 years there..striving so hard to get our mouse into the top 4 positions..I can say we really been through thick and thin..from the times the mice always fail..from the times when we slog till late ours to get our program done. from the time we won the cutest mouse competition..I wonder how my seconday sch life will be without him.
Chao Yang: hahaa..I wasn't close to chao yang during year 2000..maybe he was also so quiet..I seldom notice him..till he hangs out with zach..jackson..kelvin..victor. But Chao yang..haha..although quiet..he can be very chatty at times...because he was in IT club too we get to talk often..lol..and clement and chao yang always like to "fight" when they see each other..lol..poking each other.. and then take broom sticks and dustpans to battle it out...hahaha.. till now..I this old friend is still in the same school as me..wahaha.. I never get sick of him when hanging out with him..lol..
Raymond: Yup..he was popular in class..popular among alot of friends and the girls in class. He was the discipline head so everyone pitied him for maintaining the discipline in class..but he was a gentleman..yet very out going..participates..so he had a good image among most ppl. haha..I still remember he did a advertisment project with pk and leo and jon..lol..we were suppose to think of a product to promote and we must acted out an advertisment.. haha...ray's grp did an ad on his bottle of gel branded "belcream" and he used the tune of "we will rock u" to sing out..."we use ..we use belcream!"
The Rama Crisis..
Our class was not pleasant to many others..however..our classparent wasn't an apple to our eyes as well. Although Ms rama had a cool character and an attitude which many teenagers yearn for.. but however she brought her attitude into teaching. Sometimes when she felt overly-dissapointed with our class..she would just change her attitude of teaching towards us.. sometimes..she wouldn't teach..gave us transparencies to copy and left us to rot even though lessons aren't over. But we're trying though...trying to be quiet during classes and in between classes.. trying to be punctual when moving from venues from venues. But can't she see that we're actually trying very hard? The Discipline head and chairman sometimes scream their heads of to get us settled down.
Things turn out to be more sour..when even the classparent seemed to give up on us. She started to insult some of us..and turn bias towards some girls in our class. Using words like "holy crap" , "shit"..and it turned out everytime she talked to our class during teacher-student interaction time..instead of scolding us to 'enlighten' us..her insults and scolding made us to loathe her even more.
Our class was ranked second last for well behaviour during term one..and it never got better since then..class cleaniness sucks..subject teachers get fustrated upon seeing us falling asleep often in class or making noise.. The Lit teacher blew her top and left the class twice.. and I dunno why..maybe it was over some small matters.. I could remember her face..the eyebrows really tilted at a horrible angle.. cheeks really red even though she put some makeup..her blood boiled so bad that it made it even redder.
With Yun Feng keep making stupid comments which disrupted lessons..fabian still making trouble.. + the lack of unity.. + the lack of care and understanding we need from teachers..u could say 1c1 was a class that most teachers would shun from teaching..
Class 1c1 '00
Class 1c1 was not a class well liked by the others.. espeically 1b2's classparent Mrs Cheong. It was their misfortune that their class was next to ours..and it was our misfortune to make noise at the wrong time. haha..Mrs Cheong gave warnings and then she decided to punish us by walking around the quadrangle 4 times under the hot sun. at first she asked us to walk 2 times..but she wasn't satisfied so she made us do another 2.. who knows with this extra 2 rounds caused the first catastrophe of year 2000..Yan Hua fainted mid-way and the girls were angry over Mrs cheong's punishment. 1b2 also made tons of noise before but we didn't complain.. wat's worse was some teachers tot that YH deliberately fainted..hence the bad name goes to our class..
Behavioural Problems soon prop up in our class.. Fabian became a famous trouble maker in school..defying teachers..defying almost everyone..Lol.. lets not make him sound so bad la k? JL was a cheeky guy in class..making comments that sometimes irritate teachers.. but to the teachers, he was disruptive..playful..and not attentive. tt's all I could remember..but the class was not cooperative as a whole..Nobody was willing to work with one another as a class..I remembered our class was labelled as the noisiest class in school..we generate the most problems to our subject teachers.. from defying school rules in attire to not bringing textbooks and worksheets. haha..I still can recall being punished by Mr Junus our sci teacher for not bringing textbook. He made us copy the entire chapter 1 including pics and all the words..almost like a photocopy version of the textbook!
I was still sulking over entering ctss...sulking over the classmates i have..missing my primary sch friends.. maybe thats the reason why everyone wouldn't cooperate. maybe everyone prefered their pri sch mates than sec sch ones..
year 2000..A bleak memory..
I didn't start blogging at the year 2000..but there are still bits and pieces of memory of my life in ctss still intact in my mind. As I started to enter the school in clementi..I found out that the school uniforms just look as old as the school does. I was the only kid that came to CTSS from my pri sch.. so I had no friends..just strangers..
I still remember the first person I got to know during the first day of school orientation was Fabian Ricardo. haha..I find him quite ok actually..but later in time he turned out to be one of the nastiest kid in school. lol.. I remembered I sat with fabian during the first day of orientation. Lol..we exchanged report books..but I forgot wat results he got..lol..
During the first day of lessons..I remembered I sat with Hsun Ting..lol..I could still remember she asked me where was the bookshop coz she wanted to buy a yellow file..wahaha..not long after I was named "the king" by the guys coz I was surrounded by girls everywhere in class. Our classparent (form teacher) was called Ms Rama.. A new teacher fresh from MOE.. from the looks of it..I tot it would be a pretty decent year coz we have a young teacher teaching us..and maybe the teacher student relationship could be closer..
But to my mistake..year 2000 would be a difficult year ahead..
